WELCOME TO THE FLANAGAN PUBLIC LIBRARY DISTRICT
MISSION STATEMENT
The Flanagan Public Library District serves the rural Illinois village of Flanagan, and the immediate surrounding area. The mission of the FPLD is to provide patrons with access to quality library materials and services in order to enhance patrons educational, informational, cultural, and recreational needs, all the while encouraging literacy and helping people connect. The FPLD will strive to partner with other public libraries in Illinois, and with civic and social organizations in greater Flanagan, to enhance patron access to quality library materials and services, working to provide library materials and services consistent with our library size, and consistent with public funds allotted and private funds available.
